Traverse City Classic and Customs Car Club or the TCCCCC We currently have 8 couples involved (16 people) and 7 individuals, for a total of 23 members We have about 24 cars involved right now. We have Corvettes, Mustangs, Antique Cars, Hot Rods, and Trucks, some Newer and many that are Older. We don't have any tractors or little children's push pedal cars. They "go" too slow for us. We are an "Older Group" of Enthusiasts. Youngest in the 40's and a few in their 80's. We try to have a "Drive and Dine", about once a month, or so, usually during the middle of the week. We meet at a centrally located area and drive to the restaurant. We have had a $20 yearly membership fee, however, the past 3 years, we have not had a fee, due to Covid. Many of the Car Show Events were canceled while others were restricted. We have an excellent Secretary, Linda Bennett. She lets us know when there is a car show well in advance. Those that want to attend, may do so. We try to restrict the distance that we travel to about 40-50 miles. Again, we meet at a central location and drive to the car shows together. The Board of Directors involves 4 people, the President, Secretary, Vice President, and Treasurer. We do have by-laws, so that everyone follows the same set of rules/ideas. We usually have a general meeting for all members at the beginning of the season, either in late May or early June, and a year end gathering at someone's home for a cook-out, to complete the year of events. To be accepted into the club, you must attend a general meeting so that we can meet you. An application will then be sent to you. A vote by the membership will be done by a "call in Vote process".
