Tomorrow (Sat Oct 9th) is the day for Wheels In The Woods 2021 fundraising event for the museum!!!!The address is 8061 Marsh Rd. Clay Twp. Mi 48001Schedule of events: 10AM – Registration opens – $20 to register for the first award class. If you would like to register in additional categories it is $10 for each additional class. Because of limited space, only registered vehicles will be allowed to park in the show area. Spectators must park in the rear lot. Only spectators with handicapped permits will be allowed to park up front. 11AM – The first orders for delivery from Foxfire Fixin’s must be in. Delivery will be approximately 12PM. We will have menus available. The restaurant will be donating 20 percent of all food purchases to the museum so come hungry! 1130AM – Ultimate car trivia contest. No cost to enter! Noon – Judging Sheets will be available to anyone who would like to score vehicles for awards. 1PM – Ultimate 4×4 trivia contest. Free to enter. There will be questions that are easy answers for listeners of the Wheelin podcast! 130PM – Final takeout orders from Foxfire must be in for approximately 230 delivery. 145 PM – Judging Sheets must be turned in. 230 PM – The winners of the Car and 4×4 trivia contests face off for the Ultimate Automotive Trivia Grand Champion title!3PM – Door prize raffles sponsored by Spicer to be drawn. Award winners for classes announced immediately after.Between events the free Power Wheels Obstacle course is open all day. Contestants drive solo through our longest and toughest course yet. There is no time limit. All contestants start with 100 points and lose a point each time they cross a barrier or back up. Our course record is 97 points. Can your kid beat that this year? Must bring your own power wheels and some type of helmet. Lastly, We recommend hitting Foxfire Fixin’s for dinner after the event, and then heading out to Richmond Michigan to get a fantastic beer or wine at Starr Craft Brewery who sponsored half of our awards.
